Q What is Dinitrol?
A professional two-stage rust-proofing system. A penetrating cavity wax goes inside the frame and seams, then a tough protective coating goes over the underbody. It comes in two finishes: clear for a natural look, or black for a clean, uniform undercarriage.
Q How is it different from WoolWax?
WoolWax stays soft and tacky and needs a refresh every 2 to 3 years. Dinitrol sets into a firmer film and lasts longer between applications. Both stop rust. It comes down to how long you plan to keep the vehicle.
Q How long does it last?
6 to 10 years on average, depending on your climate and how much driving you do.
Q Can you put Dinitrol over my existing undercoating?
No. Dinitrol needs a clean undercarriage to bond and work the way it should. If your vehicle already has WoolWax, oil, or rubberized coating, stick with WoolWax. It's the right call and we'll keep it protected.
Q Is it good for new vehicles?
It's the best time to do it. Clean metal, no rust yet, and you lock in protection before the first salt hits.
Q Do I need to prep anything?
Just have the undercarriage cleaned 1 to 2 days before your appointment.
